SAFE OPERATION

• Safe default code 159* 

• To change safe code: With safe open, press red button inside door once, safe will beep, enter your new code (3-5 digits) and press * to confirm. Safe will beep again.

• Please leave safe open, so we can re-set to default code.

INTERNET

• The modem is on the piece of furniture below the TV. Please DO NOT manipulate the modem unless the host tells you how.

• Network Name: The Lookout

• Password: 87654321

LAUNDRY

• We do not have in-suite laundry. If you need laundry service, tell the hostess, and she will pick up what you need to wash at night (6-8 p.m.), and deliver it to you washed and dried in the morning (8:00 a.m.) (not folded).

• The cost of the service is $10 per load of washing (one bag, one load).

GRILL

• The patio grill does not have an internal spark, you need to remove the upper grill and apply a manual lighter, there is one lighter in the kitchen drawers.

• Make sure the propane gas valve is open on the tank next to it. 

• If you use the grill, leave it with uncovered so we know we need to clean it after you leave.

ENTERTAINMENT DEVICES

• The TV is connected with Kolbi TV in the HDMI 1 port.

• Use the Kolbi control to change the channel and control the sound. It's best to keep the Kolbi device turned on, and only turn off the TV, with the TV remote.

• There is a Chromecast connected to the HDMI 2 port with which you can stream content (netflix, youtube, etc.) to the TV from your compatible smartphone, tablet or laptop.

• The factory sound of the TV is pitiful, there is an AIWA soundbar that solves this problem. Make sure the sound bar is turned on. There is a little remote control for the soundbar where you will find a button to change the input. AUX input works for Kolbi TV and Chromecast modes. Use the TV remote to turn volume up and down.

•  If you want to connect your cell phone via Bluetooth, you can select Bluetooth mode on the sound bar remote input.

LIGHTS & AC UNIT

• The Air Conditioning control is located on the wall, near the back of the bed. This AC unit is over-sized and will cool off the apartment in no time. You don't need to leave it on when you are out and about.

• The switch for the outdoor pathway and garden lights is in the kitchen, on the wall near the coffee maker. Please turn off lights and air conditioning when not in use.

EXTRAS

• There are beach chairs and a small cooler you can use at the beach. The beach chairs are by the couch, and the cooler is on top of the fridge.

• There are also several yoga mats on top of the furniture where the safe is.

• You will find also beach towels, please don't take the regular towels to the beach.

• Please make sure to clean all these items properly and put them back where they belong. Chair legs should be hosed off any sand, and air dried before putting them inside their bags.
